The Government Service Insurance System, commonly known as GSIS, is one of the leading social security institutions in the Philippines. Most government employees are members of this institution. GSIS members pay a monthly contribution or so-called monthly savings. Accumulates over time. Membership not only helps members save money, but also offers them the opportunity to take advantage of some privileges and assistance.
One of GSIS's assistance services is the GSIS emergency calamity L0an. Its goal is to help members who have been affected by calamities return to life, especially when they became homeless or have no source of life after the disaster. The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) advised members and pensioners to apply for L0ans online if they need additional cash during an improved community quarantine for the month of Luzon due to the state of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) .
